Our connectivity tools help you reach new customers, connect with your existing customers in a whole new way, and grow your business by helping you send more quotes faster.
An important step to setting up your account is starting to create your network through the platform’s Connectivity tool.
As a fuel merchant, you can connect with both your customers (who buy fuel from you) and your suppliers (from whom you buy fuel).
Connecting to your network is essential in two ways. First, as a fuel merchant, you’re in control over who you sell to, and you can choose to sell to any customer on Gasology or only specific customers on Gasology.
Secondly, connectivity lets you customize the price that each individual buyer sees. Add customer-specific price adjustments, location adjustments, and freight to your prices based on exactly who is seeing it and where they are shopping for.
Sending an Invitation
Use the invitations feature to invite your customers or suppliers who may not be on Gasology yet, or connect with those already registered on the platform.
You can invite your network by clicking the Invite to Join button at the top right of each screen or by navigating to the Connectivity manager. Here, enter the email address for who you would like to invite, then click Search. Enter your contact's name, company, and a short personal message.
An email will be sent from Gasology inviting the user to join (for non-registered users) or notifying them that you would like to connect (for existing Gasology users). In the Outgoing tab in the Pending Invitations table, your sent invitations are easily accessible and allow you to monitor when the invitation was sent, who it was sent to, and if any action needs to be taken to establish the connection.
Receiving an Invitation
New users will receive an email notifying them of your invitation to connect. Existing Gasology users can accept the connection request in the Incoming tab in the Connectivity manager’s Pending Invitations table. New users can join the Gasology platform and connect with you as a supplier or customer.

Once your contact has registered as a user, created their company account, and accepted your connection request, they will show up as an active connection.
Set transaction limits
After connecting with a customer or supplier, you’ll need to set up your new connection.
