Find fuel

Gasology’s Find Fuel feature lets business consumers reserve fuel for today or for days, months, and years in the future. As a business consumer, you can choose the type of fuel, when you want it, where you need it, and how you will receive it.

After you have successfully set up your vessels and connected to suppliers, you can shop for fuel prices.

How to search for fuel prices

From the Business Solutions portal, click on the Find Fuel manager and select one of your vessels. You must first select a vessel to search for fuel prices, because the prices you see in the Find Fuel results table will be filtered for that specific location and the default preferences of the vessel. To change these search preferences, select new options from the drop-down menus that appear to the right of the vessel table.

Details for the selected vessel will also appear on the right-hand side of the screen.

Next, select the delivery period you want to search. By default, Day is selected, but you may also search for prices offered monthly or on a yearly basis.

Once you have chosen a search period, click Search to explore merchant offers that match your search criteria.

The offers available for the selected period will be shown. The green rectangles at the top of the list display the lowest available price for each given period. Select a price meeting your needs, and a fuel request window will appear.

Review the price’s details and enter the quantity of fuel you would like to reserve in the Quantity (gallons) field. Click Add to Cart.

Ways to reserve fuel

Depending on the offers available matching your search criteria, there may be two types of prices available: firm or indicative offers. Firm offers are immediately available for purchase, while indicative offers require a confirmation from the supplier before the fuel is reserved.
